Caner Dikici, CEO of TAB Gıda, which has more than 1,300 Burger King restaurants in China, stated that the world has been trying to pass a big test, and he said: "We are running a large operation in China. In such difficult times, people must have access to high-quality, delicious, and safe food. We moved quickly through our digital channels. We continued to serve our customers with our innovative applications such as package services, 'hang my order on the doorhandle,' and 'personnel body temperature information slips". Reminding that they paid maximum attention to all processes from supply chain to food safety, from cleaning restaurants to health checks of employees, Dikici said: "We have further strengthened our procedures on personal hygiene. In this period, the Chinese state also took measures to support the economy. Like everyone else, we were in cooperation and solidarity. We supported the healthcare professionals there as much as we could. We do not have any issues with the continuity of our activities in China. Dikici summarized the other steps they have taken as follows: “First, we closed all our restaurants in shopping malls. Then, due to the regulation of the Ministry of Interior, we closed the seating areas of our restaurants; we started to serve our customers through mobile and online order platforms.”
