The founding Partner and CEO of TFI TAB Food Investments Korhan Kurdoğlu went to China with the first flight after the lockdowns and celebrated the Chinese New Year with partners and colleagues. Kurdoğlu, in an interview with Xinmin Evening News during his visit said, "With its huge population, China is the second largest economy in the world. 10 years ago, we entered the Chinese market with our Burger King® brand, and today we have reached more than 1,400 restaurants in 150 cities. As TFI, we will get more harvests in the Chinese market in the coming period; we will continue to work to add 200 new restaurants to our ecosystem here, as we were tirelessly doing so before the pandemic.”
